Using an innovative approach to video in web design, Chris Curd Design (CCD) is delighted to announce a great new look for Corbyn Ltd, a groundwork and reinforced concrete (RC) frame contractor.
Corbyn Ltd owns a number of tower cranes. CCD's team made fantastic use of Corbyn’s resources by using a 4k camera rig (4k sets a new resolution standard to give the highest image quality and definition) secured to the end of a crane hoist. The use of a camera and a crane gives a unique perspective on the London skyline, focusing on different angles and greater detail than could be achieved using a helicopter or a drone. This is a great example of the evolving technical skills of CCD, finding cost-effective and better alternatives to helicopter or drone use (now largely banned across central London). The use of cranes gives detail, beauty and is the perfect fit to showcase Corbyn’s work.
Corbyn Ltd has recently worked on some of the largest housing and commercial developments in East London and its list of clients include Taylor Wimpey, Weston Homes and Osborne. The website puts this work at its heart with a clear message upon opening the homepage and a compelling video that takes centre stage.
In keeping with placing the work at the heart of the site, the menu is a fly-out one that is unobtrusive. It has with clear and simple categories that enable a positive and easy-to-follow user experience. More detail about the company and its work is readily available on the site, but the messaging is immediately informative focusing on Corbyn’s role as a quality provider, with great end products, an excellent health and safety record and strong environmental credentials.
Chris Curd, Managing Director, Chris Curd Design said; “We’re really delighted with the end result of the site. It is modern and fresh and the video evidences the nature of the work in a real-life way.”
