Our aim here was to create a new and updated website which presents a cleaner lay out, is visually more inviting and which also incorporates social media such as Facebook and Twitter. In conjunction with this we ran an SEO campaign to improve the volume and quality of traffic to the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge website. The COINS 3 Peaks Challenge, launched in 2003 by COINS, is the charitable team building and fundraising event for organisations associated with the construction industry. As part of the website design, we created interactive galleries that are fully operational on iphones and other mobile devices. The project pages have been designed to be interactive, informative and highly visual as the site itself needs to attract new teams for the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge event as well as providing organisations with a history of participation in the challenge with relevant and interesting information. The SEO campaign was born from a desire to increase participant enquiries as well as raising the profile of the website as a team building and fundraising resource. Working alongside the marketing and fundraising team, the SEO campaign included research of keywords and phrases which when integrated into both new and existing content, increased traffic to the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge website from search engines. Our copywriting team also created fundraising related articles and published them on high Page Rank directories with links back to the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge website.
