We were briefed by COINS to create a dynamic and sophisticated design for their new UK website and client area whilst improving the user’s experience. COINS supply market leading construction industry software to the major organisations within their chosen sectors. With established presences over 6 continents, the company has gone from strength to strength since its inception over 30 years ago. Refreshing the Design The goal was to produce a design that kept the integrity of the COINS branding whilst refreshing the design with more interactive features. Three Column System One of the main challenges we faced for this project was adapting the pre-existing website into a more digestible format. We established a three column system within our design solution with smaller blocks of copy on each page to make the user experience more interesting and more eye catching. A greater link presence was also incorporated into the design to allow users to travel deeper within the site with fewer clicks. Retaining Brand Integrity The design is successful in staying true to the COINS brand whilst achieving a more sophisticated feel which captures the scale of the company. Less Clutter, More Stimulating The new website is visually stimulating and beautifully functional, providing users with less clutter than its predecessor. The client area has improved user friendliness and continues to be a powerful and secure way for COINS to share documents with their clients. |
